About twenty miles of BLM land also known as the strip.
Then as president Rosevelt said "What a nice level ridge ... " Kabib National Forest land of many uses. We just left Navajo Nation crossing the colorado river
Hence Navajo Bridge I used to cross the river. Not many people still use the old 1925 bridge. Unless you come on bicycle or walk.

Leaving uphill to Marble Canyon uphill from Lees Ferry all the way to Jacob Lake at 7921 feet. Can I have some more dinner?

Took two days and a lot of climbing for 40 miles. Reward cooler. Last 12 mi I climbed almost 3,000 feet.

Very hot in the cannyon good reason to evacuate.

I am using a decommisioned road on the AZ strip. A cool poet lady saved this land for us. So how nice! A little fresh stuff going on smells like rain.
