I am sitting at Escalente's rest stop.

On center street just like everytown on Utah is getting to me.

I can count the number if chains on fingers.
They host some really crappy hours. Not to mention I arrive everytown on Sunday of all things.

My 312 was nowhere to be found the map I boight doesn't even have that sector how chincy is that.
I over shot and now I am screwed.

This is going to be a sixty day. Most of it was down hill atleast.

My food needs restocking. In a bad way. My last groccery stop was 120 miles away. Bryce cannon had some things at a price I hope goes away.

I am not that bad off. Bagels, raisons. If I can find some jerky I should be ok.

I need to put another 10 more miles to make it to lower box trail head. Sleep and then who knows since Boulder will be shutdown for Sunday.

Good thing you don't need food everyday! Sheesh.

I am back in the saddle again!

I am so antsy I feel like I could peel back 100 miles before lunch.

Yet I know that will take 3 days.

Capital Reef is the next hundred. Halfway to a cycle shop. That I need one.
I am doing my long range planning.

I speed things up after capital. I want to be in another state by july,

Bryce has left a wish list of thing s I want to do as we'll as the other things.

Today
A hill .
Then a couple of towns.
Then a climb. And hill then settle down Pet hollow road.

Should be a good 40 today.
I have options before that but I am antsy.

At any rate I am comming up to the halfway point. In milage.

I made it into tropic a nice 90 degrees time to climb. Get some air in me.

So I get to spend another day at Bryce. Hopefully I will get my tires tommorow. I tore a big hole in one. I managed to tape some plastic so the tube would not pop out. So it is rideable atleast.
They have a shuttle I am going to take after the noon sun is moved on.
I myself went to Rainbow point and the hiked down to my camp site. It was an exhausting day. I was rewarded witha nice breezy campground in a medow with pines and ash treed.
I stayed over Tues. and went up on Wed. With my tire problems it took the whole day to get out.
Today ordered my tires. Shipped over night only 60 miles away shouldn't be to much right. Well my groccery bills here will more than make up for me getting out here. I am spending around 12 a day. Of course I am more than happy to support them. Just don't want to wait till monday for those tires.
They have quite the complex. At the city.

I might get some pictures up but thr signal sucks.

Getting to Bryce was interesting they had a 5 mi bike path that was even graded like a road. That didn't last long.

Keep on keeping on

My 8th day in Dixie Forest
Will I ever get out of here even if I get my parts I still have another night in the forest.

This was the highlight of my day. Saturday.
I ate a picnic here.
I hiked in my sandals with snow on the ground. 10500 feet oh yea let's go downhill.
We will leave that for Sunday.
Now off to another lake.
It took Friday to ascend 8000 feet
Saturday summit at 10500 feet dropped to 7000 feet.. Sunday I came down to 6000 feet now back up to 7777 all in one day. I am getting good at climbing things.

It has a ben a month.
Out in the wilderness.

5 days in a hotel
And one night camping.

I have had every kind of possible eating weather and locations.

Still need a cave though.

I am not as far as I would like. This gives me less free time and that is my fustration.

Every day I move foward allows for new and exciting sights.

The world is so much bigger. This will also be the 10th year since my departure from Minnesota. I have grown alongside this world. I demand more now that I can see farther.

I watched some lenticulous clouds cast as suinset yesterday. On a meadow next to the airport. Dreams fly in on insturment appoarches. Wisking would be souls into the natural abyss.

Time to head to Byrce canyon I get my permits to camp and come back on wed.

And if that doesn/t happen who knows I have more free time.
